Funding for course organisers

Where can I apply for funding to host a NOVA/SoilSoc intensive MSc course?
NOVA University Network allocates funding to plan and host intensive MSc courses (NIMC). Application for the planning grant (max. 5000 euros) can be submitted at any time of the year. Application times for running a course (max. 5000 euros) are twice a year. The lodging costs of the participants ARE NOT included in the course budget.

Where can I apply for funding to host a NOVA/SoilSoc intensive PhD course?
NOVA University Network allocates funding to plan and host PhD courses. Planning grant application (max. 5000 euros) can be submitted at any time, but the application time for running a PhD course is only once a year, in the spring. The lodging costs of the participants ARE included in the course budget.

As the organiser of a PhD course you can also apply forNordForsk Course scholarship to fund the travel, accommodation and food costs of the participants from other countries. In this case the names of the prospective participants need to be known well beforehand (in the autumn). Read more behind the NordForsk link
Another type of NordForsk grant is funding for Research training courses. The funding is max. 400 000 NOK and it covers also the costs of organisers and lecturers in addition to the participants' costs, as well as administrative costs and remunerations. The application process is more laborious, but no names of the course participants need to be known when this application form is submitted (application time in the spring).
